Ofsted Information

Our school (now Uplands Academy) was last inspected in 2017 while still operating as Uplands Community College and was rated as a ‘good’ school by Ofsted. 

At the last short inspection, the Ofsted inspectors said:

• The “leadership team continue to strive to provide the best possible education for each pupil.”.
• “At the last inspection, inspectors noted several strengths, including strong leadership, good teaching and rising attainment, as well as pupils’ good behaviour and attitudes to learning.”  The college “have maintained and continued to build on these strengths.”.
• There is “a strong culture of safeguarding that runs throughout the school.”.
• “Instances of bullying are rare”.
